Do I need to register the LLP in Almaty?
An LLP is registered at its location — the legal address. If your office or warehouse is in Almaty, it makes sense to register the company here: you will also be registered with the tax authority in this city.
How much does it cost to register an LLP in Kazakhstan?
Small and medium-sized businesses are exempt from the state registration fee. For large businesses the fee is 6.5 MCI — 28,112.5 ₸ in 2026. For small businesses there is no minimum charter capital — it can be nominal. For other LLPs it is 100 MCI, i.e. 432,500 ₸ in 2026.
Does the founder have to be present in person?
Since 1 April 2026 the registration authority may require the personal presence of the founder of a commercial organization in cases set out in its internal control rules. The notice arrives in the eGov personal account. We check in advance whether this may apply to you and plan the steps.
